10 Types Students You Should Not Sit With If You Did Not Read For An Exam

This article is based on my experience at The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti; and I trust that this is also peculiar to every other institution across the nation

When it comes to exam, I’m just that kind of person that barely rely on my fellow students for help in the hall. This is to avoid a story that touches the heart

That being said, it’s always good to study hard for an exam because this will boast your confidence and self esteem, but if you did not, if you sit with these categories of students during an exam, you are finished 😀

I know that many of my fellow Naijaloaded users might have also come across these categories of students

Now let’s analyze these categories of students

1. The S.U

I think this should top the list. This reminds of an exam I did not prepare for when I was in ND1. This was because I had little or no interest in the course. Unfortunately for me, I sat beside a religious zealous lady (we all call them S.U :D). When things were getting out of hand, circumstances led me to call her to please save me from failure; and to my surprise this lady turned deaf ears to my calling but after so much disturbance, she flared up saying she’s wouldn’t do that cos that is a violation of religious law. Thank God I managed to get a D

2. First to submit Booklet Students

I don’t know if there’s a special mark awarded to students who submit their booklets. When they manage to answer all their questions, they will quickly zoom off to submit their booklets. This is done probably to intimidate other students, making them look like olodo

3. Those who also want to Copy you

This is very funny. If you didn’t prepare for an exam and you happen to sit with students whose aims and objectives is just to copy every everything you have written word for word. You are finished !

4. Masquerade Carriers

These categories of students will succeed in examination malpractice even if battalion of solders invigilate. However, I have observed that these students are always very observant and watchful to avoid being caught. If you ask them for answers, they will keep posting you even though they have written 10 pages and your booklet is still empty.

5. The who are topping the class

I don’t know if this also happens in other institutions. Majority of those who are the rocker of a department barely communicate with other students during the exam. They are mostly quiet and will never do side talks. If you don’t study hard for an exam and you sit with them thinking they will help you. Be rest assured that failure is you friend

6. Boastful Students

This normally happens in the first year (ND1 and 100l). During the first semester, these categories of students will always ask questions during lectures probably to show that they understand the lecture better than every other students; more so, even to the extent that when all students are bereft of knowledge of something, these boastful students will give other students an impression that they know it all. Don’t be misled by their acts cos many gullible freshers will be clustered around them in a bid to make friends with them. If you rely on them during an exam, you are finished !

7. Students Who Claim they are smarter than you

These students will ask for the few you have written and will add it to theirs, but when you ask them questions, they will tell you to be patient with them. If i hear say dem tell u

8. Students You Will Find at nigth class 24/7

This can be sometimes deceiving. That a student leaves the class at 11pm reading is not a indication of brilliance. Some of them may not be as brilliant as you think. If you are misled by this and you rush to sit with them during an exam, you might end up biting your finger. Lolxx

9. Student who hold themselves in high esteem

These ones know nothing but because they hold themselves in high esteem, they will not ask you for answers and will not tell you either. This is because they know that the breeze will expose the anus of the chicken when they tell you what they have written

10. Please feel free to add the last one. 😀

Thanks for reading

WAEC Seized My English Result Twice – Patrick Obahiagbon

Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon in an interview with Punch Newspaper revealed his WAEC Results were seized twice ‘cos of the ‘big grammars’ he used.

Punch: Did you write exams in school in these big words?
Hourable: I used such words very-very freely in my exams both at the secondary school and in my university and little wonder I had the misfortune of my English results being seized intermittently in my O’ Levels. WAEC released my results for the other subjects and withheld my English result. This happened for about three years. Twice, I pa$$ed the University Matriculation Examination but I could not proceed to the University because of my English results that were not released. At the end of the day, it was released after the third attempt.

Punch: Why do you always use ‘big grammar’?
Honourable: I am not really consensus ad idem with those who opine that my idiolect is advertently obfuscative. No no no, it’s just that I am in my elements when the colloquy has to do with the pax nigeriana of our dreams and one necessarily needs to fulminate against the alcibiadian modus vivendi of our prebendal political cla$$.

Punch: How do you talk to your wife, children and even your friends?
Honourable: I relate with my family and friends very warmly and in an atmosphere of camaraderie, stripped of my confutational habiliment and gladiatorial homilies. I am a very peaceful, calm, level-headed and celestially attuned soul personality.

Punch: Is this the way you proposed to your wife, speaking high tech grammar?

Honourable: Of course, the business of the day when I interfaced with mywife on matters of the heart had to be in plain Caeser’s languageand you can decipher why that had to be so. The matter in view did not permit itself of sphinxian conundrum.

Punch: Do you know that many people don’t take you too seriously when you talk because they think you are not communicating?
Honourable: Why will I be perturbed from ensconcing myself in the palatable arms of Morpheus because people have deprived themselves of the cultivation of the regime of the mental magnitude? I read all the farrago of baloneys and vacuous bunkum from pepper soup objurgators. The spirit of animadversion remains their fundamental
human right. It also remains an indubitable fact that I get millions and millions of requests daily from people all over the world requesting for my verbal mentorship which positive cosmopolitan reactions have a$$isted my equipoise and righteous sense of pachydermatous garb. I cannot put my nose to the grindstone daily and expect to be understood by those luxuriating in a modus vivendi, verging on pepper souping, goat heading, suyaing, big stouting and isiewulising. Has a philosophical wag not once pontificated that things of the spirit are spiritually discerned and that it takes the deep to call the deep? We will speak more on this matter of critiques and chichi dodo another day.

Punch: Why do you pull your trousers up beyond the waist?

Honourable: Hahahaha….That trousers style is called Yohji Yamamoto. It was my own audacious statement to remonstrate against the pervasive tendency of Nigerians especially our youths that took to the practice of putting on trousers exposing their lower anatomical contours and I will do it over and over again.

How Don Jazzy Made Korede Bello, Reekado Banks & Di’ja Stars In 1 Year

Michael Collins Enebeli , widely known as Don Jazzy , is unarguably Nigeria’s most high profile music producer.

Beyond his dexterity in the area of music production however, Don Jazzy has shown he is also good when it comes to the discovery and nurturing of raw talents.

The Supreme Mavin Dysnasty boss, who worked with D’banj for several years before they parted ways, discovered Wande Coalwhile running one of Nigeria’s biggest music labels, Mo Hits Records (co owned by himself and D’banj).

Discovering Wande Coal, famously called the Black Diamond on the streets of Mushin, one of Nigeria’s most notorious slums, Don Jazzy turned him into a fine blend before they parted ways a few years ago.

He is also credited with the conversion of former Trybe Records rapper, Dr Sid to a singer with one of the best songs in the land in the last 5 years.

So soothing is the transition for the ‘Surulere’ singer that his days of struggling as a rap act is now almost entirely forgotten. One would think his Supreme Mavin Dynasty was already loaded enough with notable stars like Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid andD’Prince but that streak of nurturing raw talents propelled Don Jazzy into signing Korede Bello, Reekado Banks and Di’ja in February last year.

When the three young artistes, fondly called the Mavin 2.0, were unveiled early last year, many criticised the decision, saying it could derail the ambitions of the label.

For many of the critics, Don Jazzy should have concentrated more on Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid and D’Prince and was biting more than he could chew by bringing on board 3 acts at a time none of them had released any popular song.
Fast forward to just a year later, these young artistes have proved all doubters wrong, buy churning out hit songs in quick succession and becoming music sensations in Nigeria and beyond.

This achievement has once again underlined the status of Don Jazzy as a master of the game, whose mastery of production, technical know-how have combined well with the vocal ability of the three to turn them into stars in their own right.

What’s responsible for his successes is his understanding of consumer psychology, his ability to listen and connect with music tastes and his relentless passion for making good music. Of course, the A&R exec in him, and the smart kids he’s surrounded himself with, have made sure he picked three kids who are exactly what the fans need at this time.

Looking at the Nigerian music terrain, the feat becomes even more incredible considering how long it takes to nurture young talents before they blossom into established acts. It is safe to say no label in recent history has achieved this feat.

EME’s Shady and TrippleMG’s Tekno , who many of us thought would give the likes of Davido and Wizkid a big run for their money are still struggling to cement their status but Don Jazzy has succeeded in turning three fresh talents into stars in one year.

These Mavins youngsters’ appeared on the scene last year but today, they are rubbing shoulders with the heavyweights in the game. They have been headlining shows across the country and even outside Nigeria.

They have been on all major shows in the last one year and even performed at Ghana’s biggest annual musical event, Tigo Ghana Meets Naija where they thrilled the audience to no end.

The monster hit, ‘Dorobucci’ is the song that launched them into the music scene but they each of the have gone on to prove their individual skills by releasing their own hit songs. With their solo efforts, they have shown that they are ready to deliver even more.

Korede Bello released his first single, ‘African Princess featuring Don Jazzy on February 28, 2014. The industry soon took notice following his performance in ‘Dorobucci.’ Upon the release of his hit single, Godwin, his fan base has tripled and suddenly, it is almost impossible for anyone to ask: ‘Who is Korede Bello?’ no matter the part of the country you reside.

He has won the admiration of many ladies especially with his sweet sounding voice and the wink that gets ladies crazy. Even female celebrities are not left out and some have gone as far as kissing him after watching him perform on stage on more than one occasion.

He made headlines when Nigeria’s new President, Muhammadu Buhari ’s daughter took the viral picture with him after he had entertained the audience during the new President’s inauguration dinner at the Villa.

Reekado Banks, who went by the stage name Spicy prior to his record deal with SMD, was declared the Rookie of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Headies.

Reekado Banks premiered his first single, ‘Turn It Up’ on February 21, 2014 which happens to be the same day he got signed to Mavin Records. The song features Tiwa Savage and was released as his first official single under Mavin Records. His other songs, ‘Chop Am’ and ‘Katapot’ are popular hits.

Di’ja started her career in 2008. In 2012, she released a number of singles including ‘Dan’Iska (Rudebwoy)’, ‘Hold On’ (Ba Damuwa)’ and ‘How Can We Be Friends’.

On February 14, 2015, Don Jazzy announced the addition of the young woman to Mavin Records with her first official single under the label titled Yaro’ an up-tempo celebration of love and commitment against all odds. Her single, ‘Awww’ is one of the buzzing songs at the moment.

While the winning formula adopted by Don Jazzy might not be so difficult to figure out; it is surely not all that easy to replicate. This is even more so for record labels that only feast on the star power of established acts without the real desire to invest in the future by recruiting and nurturing talents.

With his managing the established acts on one hand and his infinite sense of aligning with the wishes of music lovers on the other, labels with similar ambitions must be ready to become more aware of what the people, especially the young ones, like in this age of social media.

And for Don Jazzy, you can hardly rule out a long winning streak ahead. It is not for nothing that the label is officially named the Supreme Mavin

Photos: NDLEA Discovers 3 Drug Labs Worth Billions In Ozubulu Anambra State....

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA) has arrested an international drug peddler from Ozobulu, Anambra state.

The agency discovered three clandestine laboratories used for illegal production of methamphetamine built by the dealer Chukwunwendu Sylvester Ikejiakwu , aka Blessed,.

The illegal drug factories were detected in Anambra State South East Nigeria. A suspected drug kingpin Mr. Chukwunwendu Sylvester Ikejiakwu aka Blessed who was arrested is said to be the owner of the laboratories and leader of an International Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) that recruits and sponsors drug couriers to China, Malaysia, Turkey and Italy.

NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive, Ahmadu Giade said that sufficient evidences had been gathered on the suspect to ease his prosecution. According to the NDLEA boss who described the arrest as the latest outstanding operational success recorded by the Agency, “the Special Enforcement Team (SET) of the NDLEA has concluded a model investigation of an International Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO).

The Agency apprehended the suspected leader of a drug syndicate in his country home at Ozubulu after thirteen months of intense surveillance. Three additional clandestine laboratories that produce methamphetamine had been discovered in his home town in Anambra State”.

Giade stated that based on intelligence report received on April 23, 2014, a high level covert operation commenced on the suspect Mr. Chukwunwendu Sylvester Ikejiakwu aka Blessed of Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.

“The 37 year old suspected drug kingpin was found to be deeply involved in Unlawful Exportation of illicit drugs, Unlawful Assembling as well as running of methamphetamine production laboratories in the Eastern part of Nigeria. He shuttles between his country home in Ozubulu, Nnewi and No. 2, St, James Close Ajao Estate Isolo Lagos where he resides in Lagos for his drug business” he added.

The Agency equally uncovered that Chukwunwendu Sylvester Ikejiakwu aka Blessed is the Group Managing Director of Blessed Group of Companies. He hides under the cover of motorcycle parts business in running a drug cell that has international affiliation. His companies include Blessed Benita Global Limited, Ideal Motorcycle Company Limited and God’s Special Enterprise Limited. He specializes in recruiting and sponsoring drug couriers to China, Malaysia, Turkey and Italy. He also pays his couriers an average of $5,000 dollars per trip.

He runs the clandestine methamphetamine laboratories in his premises located in Akubuezem Nnewi, Anambra State. It was gathered that he hired one Raphael who is a professional methamphetamine cook to work for him. He pays him five hundred thousand naira (N500,000) for his service and seven hundred thousand naira (N700,000) for the purchase of precursor chemicals per production cycle. The production capacity per cycle is 14kg.

“During a search on one of the laboratories at his Nnewi house, 2.615kg of liquid methamphetamine was found inside a yellow plastic jug and 250grammes of crystallized methamphetamine concealed in a white transparent polythene bag. Methamphetamine laboratory equipment seized from his house include the following; One (1) approximate volume measuring scale, Six (6) heating filters, Six giant conical flasks, industrial tubes and cups of sodium hydroxide. Others are containers of iodine, Acetone, Hydrochloric Acid, weighing scale, masks and hand gloves among others” the NDLEA boss added.
Also recovered from him are paraphernalia for drug concealment similar to the ones seized with drugs at the airports and land borders.

They include an electronic weighing scale, assorted artifacts, laptop bags, motorcycle parts, air compressors, bus and truck mirrors, araldite and Atiso paint, processed brown envelopes and impulse sealer. Others are transparent packing nylon and carbon paper, tower foil paper, needles, threads, super glue and many more.

The suspect had two (2) Nigeria International passports and one Ghana passport all bearing his photographs with different names.

Details of his three passports are as follows; Ikechukwu Sylvester Chukwunwe, Nigeria passport with No: 04272646; Samson Odinakar: Nigeria passport No: A03472814 and Anthony Yeboah Frank, Ghana passport No: H2437245. Two other passports belonging to suspected drug couriers were also seized.

While surveillance on this criminal group was ongoing, the NDLEA intercepted 23kg of methamphetamine on February 19, 2015 along Badagry expressway, Lagos en-route Cotonou. The seized drug was ultimately traced to Chukwunwendu Sylvester Ikejiakwu aka BLESSED. One AZUBIKE is now standing trial at the Federal High court Lagos in respect of that seizure. Some drug couriers sponsored by him have been arrested and are in prison custody in China, Turkey and Malaysia.

Some of the assets believed to be purchased with drug proceeds had been traced. “We are investigating over sixteen bank accounts belonging to him in different banks. He has a Toyota Venza with vehicle registration No AAA 18 BP, a Peugeot 406 with vehicle registration No FST 587 AS; a Q5 Audi four runner with vehicle registration No EPE 546 CF and a Toyota Sienna SUV with vehicle registration No KRD 399 CG.

He allegedly bought a piece of land at No. 21A Joy Avenue, Ajao Estate in 2009 at the cost of twenty five million naira (N25,000,000) and rebuilt it in 2012 to three (3) story building at the cost of ninety million naira (N90,000,000) only. He also bought a property at No 2 St. James Close Ajao Estate for seventeen million naira (N17,000,000) and built a five (5) bedroom duplex on it at the cost of twenty five million naira (N25,000,000) only.

The illegal drug activities of the suspect have grave economic, social and political consequences on the nation. Methamphetamine production generates toxic waste that pollutes the environment and exposes workers, neighbours and guests to health hazards. Young and active youths are used as drug couriers to smuggle produced drugs outside the country. This is in addition to creating local drug addicts due to availability of the drugs at affordable cost.

Some of the drug couriers he sponsored are languishing in jail in China, Malaysia, Turkey and Italy. Some are believed to have died in foreign prisons. Besides, Nigeria has suffered international embarrassment due to arrest of our nationals abroad
Notwithstanding the challenges, Giade said that the era of in-depth and analytical investigations have come to stay in the NDLEA. A solid foundation has been established and we shall continue to build on the existing structures. The Agency shall ensure that this case is diligently prosecuted and all assets traced to the suspect and his group is forfeited to the federal government.

He reassured members of the public that no drug baron shall go unpunished. At the most expedient time, more drug barons shall be exposed and prosecuted. I wish to thank the officers that took part in the operation and urge them not to relent as every outstanding performance shall be rewarded.

Interesting!! See How Buhari Intends To Improve Power Supply

President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed that his administration will give topmost priority to the improvement of power supply in the country.

This was disclosed in a statement by his special adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina who spoke while granting audience to official of the Chinese Construction Company (CGGC) working on the Mambilla Power project

According to the president aide, it was quite regrettable that power generation in Nigeria had failed to keep pace with national needs over the years.

To salvage the situation, Adesina has disclosed that President Buhari would ensure the Mambilla project and other unfinished hydro-power projects in the country are completed expeditiously to boost power supply in the country.

“I am very much interested in Mambilla and other hydro-power projects, not only for the improvement of power but also for irrigation as both power and irrigation projects will help to improve the lives of Nigerians.

“I am going to ask for details of the Mambilla Hydro-Power Project and others. Very soon, we will get together and redefine the project agreements for faster results,” he said.

Mavin First Lday Tiwa Savage’s Mum Meets Football Legend David Beckham [See Photo]

Tiwa Savage’s mum Mrs. Savage grabbed on the rare opportunity on the global football icon David Beckham.

Tiwa Savage and her mum where at Selfridges in the United Kingdom and as coincidence had it, the former English Captain was in the store shopping with his daughter Harper Beckham.

While Tiwa acted all shy and didn’t want to take a picture with the former football star, her mum gladly jumped on the opportunity. Tiwa said she didn’t want to show her pregnant face on camera.

“Flash back Friday to just a few days ago …. Mummy and I are in selfridges baby shopping (you never stop buying BTW) and all of a sudden she shouts BECKHAM. Low and behold David Beckham was on the same floor shopping with this daughter. I was beyond embarrassed.

She then proceeds to ask for a pic even though it was obvious he was trying to stay low key but he was kind enough to agree to take a pic with my tiny embarrassing mama.

Then all of a sudden she didn’t wanna leave the store after she has been complaining that we had bought enough LOL … Ok fine make I confess me sef wan take pic but fear dey catch me besides my fat swollen face didn’t really encourage me…ssshhh pls don’t tell my mum.

I told her I didn’t take a pic because I was feeling like a fellow celeb as well” read the caption of Tiwa’s mum’s picture with David Beckham.

2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup: Mali dismisses Ghana 3-0, qualifies for 1/4 finals.

Mali, which managed to qualify for the round of 16 as one of the best four third-place finishers, is through to the quarter-finals of the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. This was after a shock 3-0 win in Wellington early on Wednesday over former champion’s Ghana.

According to the FIFA media outlet, the Malians owe their result to a trio from Diadie Samassekou, Diedonne Gbakle and Aboubabacar Doumbia.

Before going ahead in the 20th minute, Mali had created the better openings, with the Black Satellites’ Lawrence Ati forced into a fine save to keep out Souleymane Diarra. Ati could do nothing, though, to prevent the opening goal that followed. The goal came from a swift, slick interplay between Samassekou and Adama Traore, with a couple of quick passes and flicks exchanged before the former slammed a left-foot shot into the far corner of the net.

Ghana attempted to rally but found Digui Diarra an impassable barrier, with Emmanuel Boateng twice denied by the impressive Mali goalkeeper on either side of the interval. Mali now advances to face either Germany or Nigeria in Christchurch and, on the evidence of this match, those teams should be wary indeed of the threat the Malians can pose.

Ghana, winner of the tournament in 2009, two-time runner up (1993, 2001), bronze medallist in 2013 and fourth-place finisher in 1997, started as favourites on Wednesday after winning Group B and beating Argentina. Mali’s best showing so far at this level was its third-place finish in 1999.

Armed robbers rape virgin nurse during night attack

An 18-year-old auxiliary nurse identified as Bola, will definitely live with the scar of losing her precious virginity to a gang of four robbers who raided the hospital where she works and gang raped her alongside with other nurses on night duty.

According to the young lady who has put the blame for her trauma on the doorsteps of the Egan, Ikotun Igando Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State located hospital, for not providing adequate security.

The robbers reportedly had easily gained access into the hospital located at Santa Maria Street in the area, after scaling the fence at about 3am, overpowered the security guard and tied him with ropes before locking him up in a room. They then proceeded to raid the hospital, taking turns to rape the girl and other nurses, injuring many of them in the process, before carting away valuables.

Bola narrated how she lost her virginity to the four gang menafter four robbers who stormed the hospital, took turn to rape her.

It was learnt that this year alone, robbers have attacked the hospital three times.

Bola said:

"The owner of the hospital did not provide security for his staff. I tell you, by this laxity, I and other staff have been subjected to mental torture.

The incident was reported at Igando Police Station, while the medical director of the hospital was arrested and later released on bail."

The Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Adegbola Dominic, confirmed the incident but said he could not be held liable for the rape of the nurses since he did not send the robbers to attack and defile them.

Hear him:

"When the robbers could not find money, they broke into the patients’ wards and carted away their phones, money and other valuables. I was also informed that one of my staff was raped. When I asked the victim about the incident she denied it.

I was surprised when the victim’s parents came to the hospital with police and got me arrested over the nurse’s claim that she was raped. When I got to the police station, I told them I could not be held liable for the victim being raped. I was not the person who sent the robbers to rape her.

When the incident happened, we took her through some tests and discovered she was intact. She is still a virgin and nothing happened to her. It is just that as a young girl, she suffered some shocks and that is all.

But if you heard she was raped, well, maybe she was a victim of circumstances and that obviously was not my fault. If I have a house and robbers raid my house and then rape somebody, is that my fault?"

Abuja Prostitutes Protest .. Enough Is Enough; Prostitution Should Be Legalized

'We No Go Gree' Abuja prostitutes protest incessant arrest by officials , Some prostitutes in Abuja have taken to the streets to protest against indiscriminate arrest and extortion by the law enforcement agencies.
More than 500 commercial sex workers in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, took to the streets protesting the incessant and indiscriminate arrests and extortion of their members by the FCT Special Task Team on City Cleaning and Management, reports say.
The prostitutes under the aegis of the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP), expressed their anger after more than 3,000 of their members were arrested in various raids in the last three months by the FCT officials in different parts of the capital city.
Parading the town with different placards with inscriptions like:
'Ashewo work na work'; 'Allow us to hustle for our daily bread'; and 'Legalize prostitution now', the scarlet ladies showed their dismay at the way their members are molested daily by different task forces and security operatives.
One of the ladies who said her name is Loveth, narrated their experiences to our source:
"We are Nigerians too and we only go about seeking our daily livelihood, so I see no reason why they should be harassing, arresting us and extorting money from us.
These same men are the ones who patronize us but during the day, they will be molesting us.
What crimes have we committed? Many of us are graduates who could not secure jobs, so we hustle to make ends meet. We have families and responsibilities to meet, so they should allow us to work and make money.
Many of us do not like selling ourselves for money but what can we do? We are not thieves; we are not members of the political class who steal Nigeria's money. If the government want us to stop what we are doing, they should provide jobs for us. We are tired of the daily harassment.
Enough is enough; prostitution should be legalized in Nigeria."

Nigerian doctor charged with manslaughter after pregnant woman dies from massive blood loss

A Nigerian doctor named Dr Adedayo Adedeji, 62, was on June 4th charged with manslaughter after a pregnant woman died from massive blood loss after he performed an abortion on her. The woman, who is also of African descent, traveled from Dublin to London in January 2012 for the abortion after healthcare workers in Ireland refused to help when she tried to terminate the pregnancy.
According to UK Daily Mail, after the 32 year old woman had the abortion at the West London Clinic, she collapsed several hours later while traveling in a taxi in Slough, Berkshire, and died of ‘extensive internal bleeding’.
Dr Adedeji and two other nurses,Gemma Pullen, 31, and Margaret Miller, 54,have beencharged with the manslaughter of the woman because of their alleged gross negligence three years ago.
Speaking later, the woman's husband said the woman had been diagnosed with a condition which can carry an elevated risk of miscarriage and other complications, but was not considered to be life-threateningand thatwhen they sought help in Ireland, doctors refused to help them, forcing them to go to London.
A year after the incident, detectives launched an investigation into the circumstances of the woman’s death and on June 4th, announced that the doctor and two nurses have been summoned to appear before a magistrate to face manslaughter charges.
They are being accused of gross negligence and ‘failing to take reasonable care of other persons who may be affected by acts or omissions at work’. They will appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on June 19.
